During my maternity period, I supported on a part time basis, the product and design team at Fika, a health tech startup in Bethnal Green. Fika aims to bring emotional fitness to the masses, it’s a beautiful mission and I was thrilled to be part of it.
Date: July 2018, March - May 2019
Responsibilities: In 2018 I worked closely with the CEO, I did an UX overhaul of the app which helped to secure the next round of funding.
During 2019, I worked alongside Head of Product to deliver UI designs and iterate on existing screens to deliver two releases of the app. You’ll see examples of the Goal setting flow and new user registration process on the right.
I also assisted in getting app screens and icons ready for both Google play and App store release. A variety of graph design requirements.

Users are prompt to set goals, or areas of improvement, and levels of confidence in each goal to work towards and measure success.
MVP Registration Flow
Allowing users to securely register for the Fika app while complying with GDPR regulations, for the MVP app release.
